Located on County Road 200E, south of Lebanon, sits historic Kern, Kirtley & Herr. Owned by the Cunningham family, they continue a century-old tradition of manufacturing and selling feeds for numerous species of farm animals and pets. The president of Kern, Kirtley & Herr, Dennis Cunningham, was born and literally raised at the facility. He has witnessed decades of change and progress in the feed and elevator business. From steam power generated from coal to the current 3 phase electrical power and from horses to tractor engines, KK&H has stood the test of time.

Friendly service along with knowledgeable advice is the norm at KK&H.  Along with custom ground feed orders, the facility also carries name brand feeds from Purina and Nutrena.  They also have in house brands, Central Indiana Organics and Indiana Pride, for conventional feeds, Non GMO feeds and organic feeds.  If your looking for show feeds and show related items, they carry these products as well.  Recently added is the pellet mill which is capable of producing various sizes of pellets for feed and other products.  The facility also offers a plethora of other services to the area.  The unique drive-thru feed barn offers contact free curbside service.  A customer can arrive and place an order from their vehicle, call ahead, or place an online order read for pick up.  To extend the contact free service, the employees of KK&H will be happy to load your feed for you.  If you don’t feel like driving over to pick up your order, there is delivery service available.  Kern, Kirtley & Herr is also set up for bulk deliveries.  Aside from feeds, the facility also stocks animal health care products and multiple animal bedding choices.  If you need grass seed or pasture seed along with fertilizers and chemicals, they carry these products as well.  Seasonal items, such as hay and straw, are stocked when available.  KK&H can also refill propane tanks for your gas grill or camper.  These and many more services are available at the facility.  Stop by and see the good folks at Kern, Kirtley & Herr.  They would love to be your feed store and more.
